Briony Horgan

Briony is a grad student at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She studies martian surface mineralogy and geomorphology, and is working on becoming an expert on martian north polar geology. Any day now! Briony is originally from Portland, OR, and received her B.S. in physics from Oregon State University.

Melissa Rice

Melissa is a grad student at Cornell University, where she uses images from the Mars Exploration Rovers to study the surface mineralogy at Gusev Crater, Mars. She grew up in Seattle and got her B.A. in astrophysics from Wellesley College.

Ryan Anderson

Ryan grew up in Michigan and majored in Astronomy and Physics at the University of Michigan. Now as a graduate student at Cornell, he is learning to do geology on Mars. He is interested in the martian surface composition and what it says about the red planet’s past. He also is a Pancam Payload Downlink Lead for the Mars rovers.
