Obama on Space

Ian O’Neill over at AstroEngine has a really excellent post about the upcoming election and what effect it might have on NASA’s future. I encourage you to go check it out. The post ends with this video. I know that this is pandering to florida voters, but I really really hope that it isn’t just vote pandering:

    Thanks for the mention! I really appreciate it :-D

    I’m sure a lot of the stuff that is being spewed by all candidates are pandering for votes, but I think it’s Obama’s positive drive that people find refreshing. NASA needs to be led differently, I doubt McCain will be able to do that.

    Anyhow, we’ll get our answer soon either way! I’ll have the beers at the ready for a celebration…. or commiseration. (I don’t want to think about the latter!)
